Tulio Solorzano
Tulio is a personal trainer who brings hands-on physical therapy clinic experience into his coaching. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Pre-Physical Therapy focus from San Diego State University, where his coursework covered human anatomy, biomechanics of human movement, applied kinesiology, and exercise physiology.
That foundation was shaped further by time in clinical settings: an internship at Sol Physical Therapy, assisting with functional task progressions and cueing biomechanics under DPT supervision, and shadowing at Regain Performance Physical Therapy to learn treatment protocols and patient evaluation firsthand.
A four-year varsity swimmer in high school, Tulio went on to spend over a year as a swim instructor, teaching beginner to intermediate swimmers of all ages. It taught him how to adjust his approach to how someone learns best and build their confidence at their own pace.
In session, Tulio is known for precise cueing, calling out exactly which muscles to focus on and why, along with exercise selection that keeps things challenging without guesswork. He checks in regularly throughout the session, staying attentive to how your body is responding, and brings an easy, personable energy that keeps training from ever feeling clinical.
